Workshop Bookings & Cancellations

Bookings

Each workshop is limited to just six participants, ensuring everyone receives plenty of individual attention and expert guidance. To reserve your place, you’ll need to pay for your workshop in full at the time of booking. Once your payment has gone through, you’ll receive an order confirmation email.

Age policy for workshops

I’ve designed the workshops I offer with adults in mind. Young people aged 14–17 are also very welcome to attend when accompanied by a responsible, participating adult (18+). The accompanying adult must book and pay for their own place and participate alongside the young person for the duration of the workshop.

If you're booking for someone under 18, please email me before booking, so I can make sure the workshop will be a good fit for their age, experience and confidence.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel
If you're no longer able to attend, please give me as much notice as possible, by sending me an email to tamara@thehoopinhand.com. If you let me know at least 14 days before your workshop, I'll be happy to transfer your booking to another available date. Where an alternative workshop date isn’t available, I’ll refund you in full.

If you contact me less than 14 days before your workshop, or you don’t show on the day, I’m unable to offer a refund. I’ll do my best to offer you an alternative date where possible – but please note this isn’t guaranteed.

Alternatively, if you’re unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place. Please just let me know their name before the workshop, so I know who to expect.

If I need to cancel
In the very rare event I may need to cancel a workshop, I’ll give you as much notice as possible. I’ll offer you an alternative workshop date or a full refund on your booking – whichever is your preference. (Please note, I can only refund your workshop booking – I can't reimburse travel, accommodation or any other associated costs.)

Gift cards
The same booking and cancellation terms apply if you book a workshop using a gift card.
